Pretoria

Sunday, 18 April the youth of the Pretoria, South Africa, congregation
had an enjoyable outing to the zoo. It was sponsored by the Pretoria
church, and apart from the fellowship that took place, discussions
were held on the way forward for the youth to become more involved in
the Church’s mission.
The
fourteen young people agreed on the following aims: first to pursue
sustainable involvement and participation in the church. Second, to
aspire to having a youth service once a month and thirdly to uphold an
ongoing SEP spirit.
They
also decided on four broad objectives: to empower the youth, to create
a favourable environment for participation, to enhance praise and
worship for youth motivation and to establish a youth choir. A task
team was also elected to take charge of these aims and objectives. For
