Making Friends — The main reason most people come to church is the same today as it was nearly 2,000 years ago—they met people who became their friends. — 3 minutes.

Evangelism — People are not attracted to strangers who invade their space, but to people who have proven they care, people whose lives reflect the love of God. — 3.4 minutes.

Messianic Secret — Jesus once healed a man of leprosy and then strongly warned him not to tell anyone about it. Why? — 3.7 minutes.

Deliverance From Oppression — The prophet Isaiah foretold the ministry of Jesus, and his words continue to ring true as faithful Christians commit themselves to letting Jesus live in them. — 3.7 minutes.

Unlimited Mercy  — In Jesus’ day, Pharisees were devoted religious people who were standing against the growing tide of liberalism and compromise. — 3.6 minutes.

God Is Faithful  — Our relationship with God is not a business transaction in which we do something for God, and then he will be good to us.  — 3 minutes.

Is God Mad at Haiti?  — Some people use tragedy as an opportunity to condemn the victims. They say that God used earthquakes to punish Haiti for its sins. — 3.8 minutes.

Another Look at Repentance  — Repentance is simply not about a new and improved you and me. It’s a change in how we think about God and about ourselves. — 3.8 minutes.

Appearances  — Things are not always as they appear. That was certainly the case with Jesus. The crowds saw a remarkable man of God, but he was actually God in the flesh. — 3.5 minutes.

Who's to blame?  — A few years ago the movie The Passion of the Christ sparked renewed debate over whether Jews should be held responsible for the death of Jesus.  — 3.5 minutes.

Light and Glory  — More than 2,000 years ago, a devout old man named Simeon lived in Jerusalem. The Holy Spirit had revealed to Simeon that he would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. — 3.5 minutes.

Awe-Inspiring — On Christmas Eve, 1988, Apollo 8 astronaut Jim Lovell said, "The vast loneliness [of space] is awe-inspiring and it makes you realize just what you have back there on Earth." — 4 minutes.

Christmas — Something the apostle Paul wrote gave me pause to reflect on my assumptions about Christmas and Easter. — 4.8 minutes.

Don't Worry — When there seems to be joy and good cheer everywhere, some Christians are full of worry about their sins and failings. — 4 minutes.

New Birth — Christmas is not just about the birth of Jesus. It’s also about new birth for all humanity. — 4 minutes.

The Incarnation: All About Love — God is not only the origin and source of love; he has woven love tightly into the fabric of the universe. — 4 minutes.

Thanks be to God — Giving thanks is the keynote of our lives and the center of all our worship. The Bible has more than 550 references to giving thanks. — 3.8 minutes.

Jesus is coming — In Mark’s story, the only reason that Jesus crossed the stormy Sea of Galilee that evening was to deliver one man from his bondage. — 3.9 minutes.

Forgive — Does God forgive us only if we forgive others — does he forgive us based on something we do? — 3.9 minutes.

Seeds — When it comes to the gospel we are not victims of chance, like mere hapless seeds thrown into the wayside. — 4.3 minutes.

Who do you say that I am? — If we are to take Jesus seriously, we cannot just accept his moral teaching but set aside who he claimed to be. — 4 minutes.

Getting Along — We are created for good relationships, and that is what the gospel is all about – restoring us to right relationships with God and with others.— 3.8 minutes.

Knowing Without Seeing — Christ said in John 20:29, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.”  — 3.8 minutes.

Temptation — Jesus overcame every temptation. In Jesus, God destroyed the work of the devil and defeated sin—our sin—once and for all. — 3.9 minutes.

Perfect Atonement — in Jesus, God has already forgiven us and accepted us as his beloved children. We have nothing to fear.  — 4.6 minutes.

Power — The Holy Spirit empowers us, not for our own means and ends, but for God’s means and ends — conforming us to the image of Christ. — 4.3 minutes.

God and the tooth fairy — Some atheists propose that belief in God is no different than believing in the tooth fairy, Peter Pan, Santa Claus or unicorns. — 4.0 minutes.

Reconciling the world — The gospel tells us that in Jesus Christ, God the Father has already reconciled to himself all things, including all humans. — 4.0 minutes.

Those who have never heard — We can trust God to love our loved ones infinitely more than we can, and to reach them for salvation in ways we may not be able to imagine. — 4.3 minutes.

Trinitarian theology —  Trinitarian theology asks, "Who is the God made known in Jesus Christ, and who are we in relation to him?" — 4.1 minutes.

He is able — If salvation depended on our faith, none of us would be saved; because we all know, if we’re honest with ourselves, that our faith is frightfully weak at times.  — 3 minutes.
