The convention held in Ocho Rios over the Heroes Day weekend was spiritually invigorating and everyone went away filled with joy. Our theme for the convention was "Christ in you the hope of glory". Seven messages were delivered during the convention and all the members of the pastoral teams delivered very effective messages around this theme. A minute of silence was observed in memory of the late Pastor Lloyd Jones.

We were able to all dine together at the Village Hotel where the services were held as they provided sumptious lunch at a very affordable cost.

The Youths had their rap session and social on Saturday night over at Brooksgreen where the Hayden's and Lawrence's families were staying.

Sunday Night was great fun for the church family as we had what was callled "Jamaica Night" on the grounds of the Turtle Towers Hotel in the vicinity of the pool.

Food was abundant as womens ministry under the leadership of Maureen Campbell organize a fun filled activity. The men also played their part.

The Chairmanship of the pastoral team was rotated once again on Saturday 13, 2007. I was glad to pass the baton to Mr. L. Joiles as I am in need of as much time available to do justice to my course of study.
