Jesus said, "The most important commandment is this: `Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength'" (Mark 12:29-30).

But who is God, and has God done anything to deserve our love?

Christian theology says that God is a "Trinity." What does this term mean, and why do we need to invent words that aren't even found in the Bible?

If Jesus is God, why did he pray? Was he just talking to himself?

When the apostle Paul went to Ephesus, he found some disciples of John the Baptist and he asked them about the Holy Spirit. They replied, "We have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit" (Acts 19:2). So what is the Holy Spirit, and why should we care?
