Comment: God allows us to learn lessons along the way. That's OK. Just don't give up. This is not a contest anyway. Just continue with your studies. You'll get over it. Hmmm... this comment and the two comments below have the same IP address. Are you one and the same person or are you two or three persons sharing the same computer? That's interesting. He-he-he...

Mr. Joson there is no need for you make a guest book in this page, because I am once a Phil. member, na bless lang to stay out of the country. However, if you want to do it, its allright. Still a Filipino by blood and skin. Okay I will try to contact the church office for that newsreel, if they can send me a CD of that activities.

Comment: The newsreel is about our 2004 activities in the WCG Philippines.

Also, I actually have a "guest book" web page set up already. There are several brethren already who have posted their thoughts and comments. Check it out by clicking this link.

Hi! Regarding the post before this, hindi ko masyadong maintindihan ang statement. Bakit may mga youths na nagse-seek kay God, pero hindi finu-fulfill ang 'true commitment' nila kay God?? Hmm... di ko pa rin gets kung anong koneksyon nung dalawa. Also, what is the "true commitment"? -- Banggi

Comment: Read my comment below para gets mo.

Monday, January 17, 2005

I wonder why there are many youth who sick God but does not fullfil the true commitment thy have in God!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment: We are told that the life of a Christian is full of challenges and trials. It's not an easy one. We should not be surprised that some youths who seek God may find themselves later on in life abandoning or not fulfilling their commitment to God. Youths can pray for each other -- encourage one another. Continue to seek God, continue to be a "youth seeking understanding."

LIFE IS FULL OF CHALLENGES AND THERE ARE COUNTLESS TIMES WHEN YOUR FAITH IS PUT TO TEST.THERE WOULD BE CIRCUMSTANCES THAT YOU WILL WONDER IFNTHERE IS REALLY A GOD,BUT DON'T GIVE UP, CONTINUE TO CALL ON HIM AND EVENTUALLY HE WILL HEAR YOUR CRIES. WHEN HE DOES DON'T EVER FORGET TO THANK HIM FOR THOSE TIMES FOR IT IS THROUGH THOSE THAT YOUR FAITH WAS STRENGENED AND YOU KNOW THAT YOU'VE MATURED IN FAITH WHEN YOU DIDN'T GIVE IN TO DESPAIR.

The National Director gave his address last Sunday, Mr. Joson, can we see that in the Phil.WCG.org site? Can someone post the Newsreel they showed to the congregation as they have combined services that day? We those who are outside the country from time to time take time to be noosy

about the Phils. especially the church. please...........

Comment: Just yesterday, I was talking to Raul Tinio (in-charge of our video production) who will help me set up a video streaming capability for our website. We can hopefully show some video clips of the newsreel in the near future. Additionally, your comment made me think of setting up a guest page or log book where everybody can write their comments and suggestions outside of this youth forum. Thanks a lot for giving me ideas. It's appreciated.

In the mean time, there's something you can do. You can ask Raul Tinio for a CD of this newsreel if you're interested.

hello poh.. happy new year sa lahat... let's all pray for those people na hindi pa rin nakikita after the diasater na nangyari here in the philippines and dun sa ibang asian countries na sinalanta ng tsunami... god bless po sa lahat...

210.213.145.153

Sunday, January 02, 2005

About the tsunami disaster, I think it's written somewhere in Ezekiel-"God does not delight when the wicked perish", of course He loves the world(John3:16). Shaking events like that one are expected to come(Revelation)in fact it is written that much more are yet to come. The physical life is indeed short but it's only the preparation for the the eternal life to come. If ur sure ur going to spend the rest of eternity in heaven I believe that you don't have to worry but if you're not sure then that's that a different story... The disaster for me is more like a wake up call. People we know could die without Christ.-Dr. Ewe

210.213.89.136

Thursday, December 30, 2004

I personally don't suppose so. Nobody's happy with it, right? Whenever and where-ever there are mourners, the Lord mourns as well. And I don't think it's fair na you blame him for it. Why not blame the earthquake itself? Why does it have to hit the Indian Ocean? Why not the Pacific Ocean na lang (and if it did, kawawa tayo ten times more)? Or why not blame those scientists who had the foreknowledge of the arrival of this disaster but failed to give warning of the coming calamity? No. I don't believe anyone, not even God, should be blamed for this. And neither should anyone be happy of tragedies such as these.

magtatanong lang sa palagay nyu bah happy c God sa ginawa niyang pagkitil ng buhay noong nangyaring trahedya, TSUNAMI..tatanong lang,.enigma

Comment: This is always a difficult question to answer. But here are my short answers: God is not happy to do that. It's not necessarily that He did it. I would say, He allowed it. And that's what is enigmatic and difficult to answer. But God in his infinite wisdom has reasons beyond our comprehension to understand why he allows certain tragic events to happen. Let's just continue to trust Him and that all things will work out for good in the end for those who love God (Romans 8:28, James 1). We actually have a lot of articles in our WCG website about why God allows tragedies, calamities, trials and sufferings to happen to all of us. Check it out by following this link

Thursday, December 23, 2004

Yes, I guess the rest of us from Luzon can well relate and participate if you can speak more in Filipino or English. You see, your forum is gaining more audience outside Mindanao and Visayas.

Comment: Amen to that. No "speaking in tongues" please. He-he-he... so we could all understand each other. Keep on posting!
