BS Psych student: Well, i guess you
can`t proceed immediately to Law or Med schools
without graduating from undergrad courses.
Psychology is a nice avenue in taking up medicine.
if that`s what you want, then study hard because
you can`t proceed to the top without first
stepping on the next level. Most of all, learn to
submit your dreams and desires to God because His
way is perfect. :) God bless you! -Ads

hey about trashergirl's quest...i
sometomes pity people with PD, particularly when
they are being made fun of, which is really cruel,
i read somewhere that the last thing they need is
pity, they want to be treated as you treat a
normal person...the pain they go through must be
really deep...nrdgrl

Law school and Med school? that
sounds heavy...will, just pray for God's guidance,
His plans are the best...nrdgrl
Wednesday, March 09, 2005
To the person confused with his/her
academic plans: You have quite an ambition there!
I don't mean to discourage you or anything, but
are you sure you want to take Law school and then
Med school? You'd be spending more than a decade
or so in your academics if you pursue that. Well,
if that's is what you really want, then go for it!
The Lord will provide a way if you really want it.
Try visiting your admin and inquire about
scholarship programs offered abroad. They may have
some information, or people you may contact.
Usually, yung mga embassies or consuls ang meron
niyan (scholarship/app forms) so try checking them
out as well. Hope that helps. God bless! -- Veejay

Hello trashergrl! I'd like to answer
your question but I can't quite verbalize my
feelings with regards to the topic. I guess I feel
an utmost dread for their fate and some depth of
sympathy for what they may be going through deep
inside. It's sometimes favorable not feel but one
can't help feeling helpless about feeling
something sometimes if you know what I mean. I
personally still see them as people. People who
has it rougher than us so- called
"normal" ones. -anonimus
Tuesday, March 08, 2005
hey guys i need some help on my
research. It's about how "normal" people
perceive people with physical defects they come in
contact with. The question is: what comes to your
mind when you happen accross people with physical
defects? i'd really appreciate all then honest
ideas and answers from all of you. Thanks a lot. -trashergrl

the deepest level of worship is
praising God in spite of pain, thanking God during
a trial,trusting him when tempted,surrendering
while suffering and loving him when he seems
distant. when Job's life fell apart, and God was
silent, Job stll found things he could praise God
for: 1. that he is good and loving 2. he is all
powerful 3. notices every detail of my life 4. he
is in control 5. he ha plan for my life 6. he will
save me according to bertrand russel "unless
you assume a God, the question of life's purpose
is meaningless. Without God life's make no sense.
God doesnt play dice. Is God play dice?
People...hope our attitude will be like Job...even
trials and pain comes...God is there in our hearts
and minds..even we are discourage on our lovelife
still we will not forget that God is in
control..un lang masasabi ko..oh guys..kung d
patalaga bigay ni God un para sa atin...let them
suffer mo na... heheheheh take care..kuya guy..

Here's another one. I sang this last
worship service here in Cebu. Its my first attempt
in crafting a worship song for church singing. YOU
ARE Verse1: Our Father who lives in heaven / Holy
is your name forever / Your kingdom come, your
will be done / Here on earth and there in heaven /
Give to us our daily bread / As we seek of your
forgiveness / Lead us not into temptation / But
keep us safe from the evil one / Verse2: You have
done miraculous signs / You turn water into wine /
The blind can see, the mute can talk / Deaf can
hear, the lame can walk / You have calm the stormy
seas / Raise the dead from their sleep / Oh my
Jesus, God’s only son / Live in us, oh you, the
risen one / Chorus: Majesty! Oh you are / Prince
of peace! Oh you are / Counselor! Oh you are /
Mighty God! Oh you are / Verse3: When you went up
high in heaven / You promised us eternal blessings
/ We’ll be filled of your spirit / To guide us
on, and be our breath / Father, Son, and Holy
Ghost / You are the one we fear the most /
Starting here from where we stand / We’ll
proclaim your name to the ends of the earth /

if you're interested, you may sing this in your

Comment: Hello to all my
dear friends! Yes, this is a good book and we have
used PDL as our Christian Living Class materials
during our recent SEP Mindanao 2004 at Emeralda.
Many lives were changed and 30 got baptized out of
69 campers.
But may I point out that we have
to read this book carefully with
"biblically-based discernment." Please
visit this link from our Plain
Truth Ministries so you will be aware of what
I mean by this. Happy reading!

'Bout the smoking,drinking,etc: I
believe it's about for whom are you doing those
things. We know that when we become Christians our
lives no longer belong to us since we have
accepted Jesus as our LORD and Savior. So
everytime we do things like smoking, drinking, or
anything else for that matter we just ask this
question, For whose benefit, honor or glory do we
do it? For God or yourself?...-DrÜ
Eey,Engr...I'm interested with the
documentary or film u mentioned. Sa'n ba kayo
nakakuha ng copy? If it's in a CD pweds ba

hello everyone!!!have you seen
"Called to be Free"? im so blessed to
see it yesterday..i was sitting at the front sa
service that time.watching it for 74 minutes or so
doesnt matter much...what matters is that it is a
great testimony...i was touched by the
documentary...and i know many are toucched...i
watched some people in the service pulling their
hankies and wiping something in their faces...ü..and
i know it hurts so much to remember those days
especially those who are already old in the
church...as for me,i was so young then...not
knowing what are those things that have been
changed in the church...what really touched me is
that...im so thankful for the church and most of
all, for my parents who sticked to the church even
it hurts them that time...thankful ako na, kahit
sa mga changes sa church natin...tayo pa rin ang
nagsasama na matuloungan ang ating mga sarili...and
also just having faith and believe in what God has
done to our church...i was touched that time
that...pinigilan ko lang na lumuha...hehehe...kasi,pagkatapos
ng video...ako kc ang mag keboard at nasa harap pa
ako...hehehe...i was so blessed with the video
docmentary...hope you see it too...-jhayz
i cant wait for summer break!!
although my break would mean a vacation of barely
2 weeks, argh. i wanna go to camiguin summer camp,
perhaps on that wkend.. u guys also join the

have heard we'l have an outdoor
adventure..obstacle race yada yada! sounds fun!
miss you all..hope to see u guys this summer.
mmmmwaaah!!!-karu
guys i would like to ask an apology
of my attitude about the subject that we talk on
here in our forum about confusing on changes im
sorry if i wasnt able to control myself hope u
understand.. i love my church..worldwide church of
God.. This church was my foundation this is where
i learn to know my God..inspite of the trials that
i encounter in my life..before when i have
frustrations i used to hide..i dont want to go to
church..i dont want to attend the music
ministry..there is one time i definetly stop going
church i think one month, its because i dont want
to face God when i have personal problems, nahihiya
akong eh face c God because of my problem..but
then i missed to be with my family, hear the
inspiring message from God..thats y i keep on
asking an apology to God..thats y if i have
problem i dont want to strung guitar,or even sing
praising songs..its because i felt it would not be
pleasing to God if i would bring my problem while
im doing my self to God..pero i learn a lot of my
experiences.mas lalo ng nagulo ang buhay ko na d
ko ask ni God help nya..after what happened i
turned back.if i have problem i leave it to him..i
depend on him,my life,lovelife,christianlife.and
also my family, the worldwide church of God who
nurtured me on my christian journey.God bless
everyone. --(dgp)
Comment: Hi dgp. Walang

ka pa rin ng lahat. Kalimutan mo na 'yon and let's
move on forward. Cheers and keep on posting!

announcement::::SEP Mindanao will be
on April 18-24...at Ardent Hot Spring Resort,
Camiguin Island...P1500 ang tuition fee excluding
the fares...see you there...ahmmm...weve discussed
about the theme...and its "PASSION FOR
CHRIST"...hopefully....hehehe...(parang not
sure) --kuya jayz
to nrdgrl: that's really true.. and
thank God nakuha mo na ung answers sa questions
mo.. and i hope you guys out there read her post!
kasi it should be God that we put our focus
into..everyday..not only in attending church
services, etc. and God has uniquely designed each
church.. you see, God looks at the heart of the
people when we come to Him during worship
services.. and whatever form of
"worship" we have in WCG, the way we
conduct our church services, it wouldn't matter to
Him, because i know for sure, He is pleased..:)
makikita naman eh.. we've been through a lot of
trials sa church and still we are here, always on
fire for Him! I know God has its own purpose why
He created this church this way.. To God be All
the Glory!! -- and that smoking and drinking
issue, i think we should pray for that.. that they
will have a change of heart.. God has its own
time, someday those stuffs will be gone..
hopefully.. :) my brother smokes too, i think it
was already 5 years ago since we discovered that
he is into smoking.. my parents know about it, and
they always remind him to quit because it would
lead to poor health.. and we know that it wouldn't
please God.. he's still into it.. but we don't
loose hope because it's only God who could change
him, not me, and not even my parents.. sige lang..
i know God is always in control of everything..
God bless you all.. !! :) --drummer_girl
about the smoking ish...dba the body
is the TEMPLE OF GOD? and smoking destroy's the
body...so that would mean that if we smoke we
destroy GOD's temple...--shadowkahn
about the church issue, i meditated
on it and i read the other day sa PDL na
worshiping God is not about what one feels while
in the middle of it. It is said there that
sometimes when u worship u dont feel God's
presence and sometimes u do but it doesnt matter
much because worshiping is not about one's
personal feelings about the whole thing but its
about worshiping GOD, worshiping is designed for
him not for us...worshiping should be GOD-centered.I
get it now...--nrdgrl
about the drinking and smoking....my
cousin who is a member of the church smokes you
know....quite a turn ff as a christian
example...... --muzxz
u knw what!! u should not compare our
church with others.... the important thing is!
..is your relationship with God!!!! IT'S ABOUT YOU
AND JESUS!!! and not about unnecessary "checheboreches"
SO start reading your bible and you will grow and
understand.... Ü free-rider
About the church's stand on smoking
and drinking, we have articles on that at the WCG
LITERATURE section (choose Alphabetical list to
find the said topics). I'll get back on you with
my opinions regarding this later. :D -- veejay
yup,yup,yup...This is what I think I
know....WCG is the only cultic group that made a
180 degree turn towards God.From it's foundation
to the changes our former pstr Gen. Mr Tkatch Sr
started to implement, our church was an
"anti-Christ" church (sorry to use the
term but it's biblical). We were more or less
equal to the Inglesia,Mormons,Jesus Miracle
Crusade,RC,etc... groups, claiming to be the
"church" that knew how to enter the
kingdom of God. The year were the changes started
was around 1986 but in our country we felt the
changes only in the early or mid 90's. Since then
local membership also began to change.Leaders who
by grace were first to understand the changes also
began to change their local areas. So we see the
true WCG is only a baby church,we are bearly 10
yrs old in this country. Many of our old members
still need to be debriefed,we have to be taught
the BASICS of Christianity for our church to grow
healthy. But let's remember that Christianity is
not just a bunch of doctrines about Christ taken
from the Bible, it's your personal relationship
with Jesus himself, the true Lord and Savior who
built His one and only Church in which WCG is only
a part....-- Dr. Ewe
para ma iba naman: wat s d church
stand on the "lesser" forms of evils
such as smoking and drinking alcoholic stuff? i
noticed that some youth members of our church
smokes, i dont hav any objections on drinking
alcoholic stuff coz i drink too,i know that the
Bible tells about "drinking for the
stomach" though...- phoebe
