hi people. i pray everyone is doing well with their studies and work; althea, kindly extend my regards to your dad and mom ( i met your mom in the airport when she went home recently. bdway, im your kuya jing concepcion. my sisters, your tita joy oliveros and tita judy vea are based there in surrey, b.c. i've heard they're helping you settle down. i know you're family is enjoying life there in beautiful canada particularly there in north van. its that part of vancouver where it seems everyone is well off with charming houses and nice cars..) guys, im proposing that we plan a combined visayas and mindanao sep next year in davao. if we can ask the church's head office to consolidate assistance and resources, then perhaps it is possible. Kinahanglan lang nga, each one of you will start saving na. assuming camp tuition fee is 1,500, transport is around 1,500 forth and back (from cebu) with 1,000 pocket money then each one needs about 4,000. i know this amount is huge especially for students but just do your part (save whatever you can) and surely God will provide. Pastor Len, your photos are great particularly Kawasan falls - where is it located? how can one get there? Comment lang re leaving your gf/bf or familly. Kaix's answers were more than enough. It's a matter of priority. God first. You family second. Your friends, community and country follows next. Allow me to tell you guys that there can be no greater happiness and joy than having a supportive wife and family all together following God's way of life. Ah, there are indeed problems and challenges and its far from easy but going the other way leads to bigger problems and er ..well, death. Comment: Kawasan Falls is near the town of Badian in Cebu province where we had our SEP camp held there recently. I lost track of the time as I took photos along the way but it was about an hour or two hiking from the camp site to the falls. The campers and staff enjoyed God's wonderful creation all around them.

Thanks for all the wise advise from everyone. This will surely help us all together as we walk the same Christian journey in life. Thanks for sharing everyone!

Hi guys and gals, to momee vee who gets younger because of her closeness to you peeps (so bear with me if moapil apil ko unsahay diri ...he, he) to bing, roi, bimboy and to all of you dabawenos, i suggest that we start planning and praying for next year's sep which is merely 10 months away (if we plan to hold it april 2008): 1. Roi/Bimboy can you put together an organizing team already? As i mentioned count me in. I will start soliciting donations and funding already so that we will be able to help those outside of davao to go there. 2. To pastor len, i know the financial challenges of holding just one sep camp for visayas and mindanao but it would be fantastic - all cebuano speaking teens together. To all of you people, if you start saving as early as now for next year's sep then it wouldnt be as daunting. So please start saving now guys! hi concern with the ip address of 203.177.167.200... reaction lang din ni ha.. here is what I have found sa bible sa calling of the first disciples ni Jesus (specifically Simon-Peter and Andrew, James and John) sa Luke 5:11 (NIV) "So they pulled their boats up on shore, LEFT EVERYTHING AND FOLLOWED HIM." .. the word "everything" in this verse means their family, their job, etc. At that time then, they chose to leave everything not "for the sake" of the Lord, but because they have decided to FOLLOW HIM and Do what they should do to become fishers of men. With this, meron ngang nangyaring ganon.. But i think it's entirely different with the what's happening in some people now. Im not sure.hehe..For me, the phrase "for the sake of" and the word "decided" are two different things. The former means they've done something because they are forced to do it, while the latter means they chose and desired to do such, even if it means leaving everything, just to follow Jesus Christ. For me, there's nothing wrong with having a bf/gf while serving the Lord, basta lang they don't become barriers or stumbling blocks while doing the Lord's work. If your mga ka-relasyon helps you in the ministry where God has placed you, and the same mo ug desire/heart in that certain ministry, then why should you leave your bf/gf? Sa asawa naman, it's a different thing. Why should you leave your husband or wife when it is the Lord who put you together? If ikaw siguro nasa ministry and married ka, and if your partner is not from the church, i think it is your obligation to bring your partner to Christ. With this, you are putting God first at the same time, nurturing your relationship with your partner. to be continued...-kaix

They showed interest to affiliate with us. According to this youth leader, his youth organization has a membership of about 1000 in Digos City. Please pray for this new development.
