This is for HIDDEN IDENTITY; Hello this is morex. Thanks for the comment. I am asking because i need help. have you read what I've said that the school wants us to have our internship within our own denomination? Well, I still consider my self a member of this denomination (WCG). The church where you say that I am pastoring is located near our house. I only act there as a youth pastor,(not a senior pastor because we already have a pastora there) this is for the reason of school requirments in Field Education. I do not consider myself a part or a member of the New Hope Fellowship (it is where i am serving) but part of Christ's Body. I am helping them because of my love for my neigbhors which almost all of them are unbelievers and for my love to our brothers and sisters in the Lord who needs help. My heart cries to see pipol who do not know Christ. GOd transformed me in order to for me to be GOd's instrument for the transformation of others.

Our goal is not to expand the WCG church but the Kingdom of GOd, reaching the unbelivers and letting them know the Love of Christ. Amen kapatid? And my training in the Bible school is not for myself but for the Lord. I am looking forward in the future after my Masters, that I will have a full time ministry affiliated in the WCG. My service in other denomination is not only a help to them but also a training for me for the future.

kapatid can I ask you a question? suppose I am not a WCG member and i will ask the same help, would welcome me in your church and train me for GOd's glory and His Kingdom? I hope you will. We do not just help because the one asking of it is part of our denomination but part of Christ's body. Always remember my friend that Christ helped those who are in need without condition, and He loves us like that as well. How about you? are you willing to lay down your life for your drunkard neighbor or friend? are you willing to testify to Him the unconditional love of Christ that he may be transformed?

God called us not for any denomination but for His Kingdom. He called me to be trained to help not Just for the WCG but for all. It is the same in the church. The church or (us the body of Christ) is "catholic" meaning universal. THe church is for all. The church is not an organization but organism.
Have you read the 5 purposes of the chuch taught us by Rick Warren? here it is; EVANGELISM, WORSHIP, FELLOWHIP, DISCIPLESHIP AND MINISTRY.

Hello everyone.... Hows everybody since lately? i just wish to share sumthing an PARADOX OF My DESIRE to serve as a christian. I,ve been quite busy lately on a ministry 4 youth on how i could help improve or streghthen the number of the fellowshiper in our BS group. and it has been quite lately dat were withdrawing numbers. Many are asking why and wat hapen and i've been facing comments from elders of d church. First it was challenging to gain them but later on i heard comments from the youths already that its impossible to gain them again? wat is happening? and they get discourage...they couldnt see there friends anymore as they say. Strong Rains just reach our ministry. It brings COLD, STIFF, and FREEZE of interest to meet even on starry Friday night. We prayed together and helped each other. I have trained few of them who i think capable to handle a ministry. YES, they are learning fast. For many reasons, i trained them coz il be looking for my own career sumday i myt be leaving dem. And my time is getting short. THEY understand! but i see i cant leave them like this? We are still starving and d seeds are still growing. I admit even as a leader i also need to rekindle( a re-enforcement). We really do need a FIRE? a physical FIRE..Hope you can help us make one! -SPARK

Greetings pastor len, this is MOREX.

Sir by next year I'll be having my internship, hopefully on June. The school encourage us to have our in internship in our own denomination but there are requirements for that; The pastor (where the church I'll be having my internship) should be a Bible school graduate and a full time pastor as well. This is for the reason of mentoring an intern.

A bible school student should should be taught by the pastor, being with him in Bible studies, and other ministries that could help the student in building up his knowledge. The student should comply 40 hours a week. And other than that former students that they sent to a church that don't have full time pastor or the pastor is a full time minister but not a Bible School graduate suffered emotional problems. Instead of being equip or discipled, they are the ones who acts as the teacher, because the pastor thinks that Bible school students knows everything. for me there is no problem with that but the school is concern of the student's experience.

The school ask me if our churches in the overseas wants to train someone like me, but i said "i don't know and i don't think our churches from abroad needs an intern." then my Field Ed adviser said to me; "it is not about the church need, it is about the desire of the church to train someone like you."

Sir i was thinking that maybe you can help me. I have no information about our pastors and churches here in the Philippines. But don't worry pastor Len because the school is also willing to help me to find a church if i can't find any.

I planned to have my internship in Dumaguete but the school won't allow because of the prerequisites.

My dear brothers and sisters in the Lord Pls. help me in prayers. I know with God nothing is impossible.

Comment: Hi Morex. Thanks for your letter. First of all, our denomination is committed to training current and future pastors and leaders on a continuing and regular basis. This is a high priority.

But if we go by the standards of a traditional Bible School, then no pastor in the WCG Philippines is qualified to "mentor" Bible School students since not one of our pastors is a Bible School graduate in so far as I know. But if the ministerial trainee is looking for wealth of experience in ministry and Biblical knowledge, then maybe our pastors will surely be more than qualified to train them.

Presently, we operate on a slightly different paradigm from the traditional fulltime pastors trained in a traditional Bible School or seminary. Most of our pastors are bi-vocational pastors except for a very few. They have their own means of livelihood/earning a living ("tentmaker") and at the same time they volunteer to work long hours without pay as pastors of our local congregations. If Bible School students can do that (raise their own support) and be ready for the difficult life of a ministerial trainee, then they are welcome to come to Davao and I will help train them.

I am actually looking for some group of young men --"band of brothers in the faith" -- (just like you) who are willing to spend some time with me in Davao for this kind of training. I have a few young men in mind but I don't know if they are ready for such a training. Hopefully, they will read this letter.

Hi, everyone.:) glad to visit again here. work has been so challenging... physically and mentally stressful. yet, sobrang visible pa rin faithfulness ni God. If this has only been on my own strength, naku, tumba na cguro ako! Work's maybe that new to me (I have to do engineering works even if I am not an engineer... whew!), yet His assurance that His guidance and confidence will always rest in me uplifts my soul. I used to tell myself that it would be a lot harder if I go beyond where I'm used to working with (the people, church, environment). Later ko lang na-realized that I don't have to think it that way pala. Why look for your comfort zone, if God secures you in His zone, thus HE becoming your comfort zone?:) It's just so amazing that He keeps on reminding me to "be still and know that (I) am God," when everyone keeps on giving demands on me. God has just been that so great here! And I just hope and pray that God would really be visible to you, as well.:) Once you see Him everywhere you go, people will see Christ in you.:)
