Hi Sar! My sister told me that she wants you here because Niko likes your company. Magkasundo daw mo 'tung birthday celebration nimo diri. My mom will stay until March but I need to go back in January for my comprehensive exam in the graduate school pero unluckily, instead sa January, gi-December nila and I don't think I'm ready for it. Hello everyone, Hello Ptr. Len....here in Cebu we also haf a wonderful festival...parang kulang pa nga ang days. It's really great to celebrate it with people who have the same purpose & heart. Opening night pa lang ang saya na. Then the next day Saturday was family day. Instead of sa beach kami sa swimming pools na galing sa spring ang tubig. Then Sunday, last day sa Baseline kami. In the afternoon, we had our youth activities, were we had games & inspirational talk from one of the staff. The staff and the young people continue their activity in SM. The singles have their bonding time after the fesrival in one of the single's house...God indeed is glorified during the festivals not only here in Cebu but in all the place...to God be the glory....momee vee

now it's official...the CDO Congregation has moved to a new place, and left behind the old meeting place. The place where we had met, met a lot of people, a lot of youths... our place of fun and laughter and joy, our place of struggles and sorrows...the place where a lot of memories happened. It's so sad to leave it all behind now...seeing the church here grow, as a neighbor of the meeting place...for more than 5 years have passed...people come and go...the activities that happened here...hope we still remember, that this place is where some of us have known each other. hoping and pray that our dream of having a permanent meeting place will soon be realized. probably you know how i feel right now...farewell to you, our beloved meeting place. -jayz

Comment: I can understand how you feel Jason. I just got back from the festival in Ipil. It was wonderful! It looks like we now have an SEP camp site there. We will have one this summer -- for the first time, in that area. We had 8 baptisms during the festival. Great!

Congratulations Jason and Charisse, and Mariel too! We just have so many reasons to thank God for... so many many reasons to celebrate.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it during festival. I wish I was there, I really do. I miss everyone and above all, I miss worshiping the Lord in a "crowd-ful" of family members. It just gives a different kind of joy when God is in the midst of his dancing and singing children.

What we are celebrating is a totally different festival. We gather together not because of a command but because we want to worship God together in a big group. We want to gather together so we could see our brethren whom we don't see often at least once a year in a big gathering. We want to gather together and celebrate our joy and salvation in Jesus. We want to gather together to thank God for all his goodness and for his great love. We want enjoy each other's company and we want to enjoy God in a big group.
