pastor len, i wondered when the government need to amend a law which talks about birth control but then the Church disagrees about it...just curious..does the church need to interfere about it? since we are over populated why need to disagree about it?
another thing is that clearly bothers me is that the statement i have heard "God commanded us to go forth and multiply"..worst thing is they are not married... do u think it is better to follow the governments' law rather than disobeying it?

What matters in life is not having tangible thngs that we want, but it's the relationship with our savior.
A young ruler asked of what he should do to inherit eternal life. Jesus said to Him (in Luke 18:22)"You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me." what's the point of giving up everything in order ot follow CHrist? In tHe young ruler's context he obeyed God's commands but there's one thing left that is important to him-his possessions.
Christ wants us to be intimate with Him and He don't wants us to be too attach with the things in this world because everything in this world will pass away as what Apostle JOhn said in 1 John 2:17.
We might ask "but how about our needs and wants?" Jesus' answer to that is "Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you"(Matt.6:33).
The questions that we should ask my dear brethren are; Who are we in Christ? Where are we in Christ? are we seeking Him and giving Him glory in everything we do? are we serving GOd or money?
If we are serving GOd then money is our slave but if we are serving for money then we are its slave (Rick Warren).
I think Guy is not alone.

I'm back in cebu na sir len... i came home last march 19 just in time to prepare for the sep. Hopefully I'll be serving two camps this year...(kung naa pa mag kailangan ug staff, I'm here!) I really thought last year will be my last year to serve the camp. but i was wrong... i love serving the youth specially on sep! hehehe....
so mga youth and staffs lets all pray together for the success of each camp this summer! --sarah

We need to be praying for the youth camps nationwide. We need to look into making our camps lean in terms of staffing and other physical needs. Maybe we can look into a retreat style of camps rather than SEP style with dorms. While the dates are stated, we still dont have enough funds to cover all our camp needs. Let us pray for God's provision to all of us, to the parents who will be sending their teens to our camps and to the staff members for their provision as well. Let us prayerfully come together and ask for God's provision for our summer camps. --Anonymous

may we all be guided always in His love. --Anonymous

Pastor Len..may i ask if pwede tah magseminar about evangelism explosion 1 week seminar? Bcoz sa uban na church it is not to compare with but they train their youths to be young evangelists to carry the Word of Christ..pwede ba xa Pastor Len? --Anonymous
Comment: Sure! We should all enthusiastically live and share the gospel to our friends and neighbors. A few years ago, many of our youths (singles na ngayon) in Davao and other areas went through Youth EE training. They also do in Metro Manila. Most of our SEP counselors are Youth EE graduates. Encourage your pastor to lead the local church in an evangelism training that fits your local church. There are also other evangelism trainings or methods available, not just EE. Don't limit yourself to one kind of evangelism training. Go for it! --Pastor Len

Comment: Hi Bambi! Greetings from Manila! We had a meeting last Monday, March 31, and Kuya Rex will not be able to make it to our SEP at Midway due to other concerns. Sayang, pero that's OK. Tuloy pa rin. That's on May 1 to 4. Pastor Rollen is our camp director and I hope to be there as well. We're still looking for funds so I'm asking everyone to pray for that need. to bro klem: hahahaha...pili ra asa a2 bro!!!
to bro guy: i think anin did not say it dat way...he means na to prove how God loves us cannot be defined by the material things he gives to christians and non-christians alike. I know God wants everyone to live lives to the fullest, but it is not only materialy. Living the fullest is knowing God and having fellowship with Him daily. He will give us the desires of our hearts but this desires are God given...we just know this if this is his will for us. dont be jealous if those Guys are complete materially, this is not our final destination, we are just on a dress rehearsal for the final play. we may live 80 years here on earth full of the earthly riches in life but that is just a mist compared to what God has in store for us in eternity. think about it!!! Il pray for you my dear brother!!! seek his counsel daily in the bible. God Be Blessed!! --Jinggoy

consider it pure joy, my brothers, when ever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who loved him. -brokitoy

God's love is not define on the physical things we have or what we can give/share, nor even what we can do for Him and the Church. Abundant life IS Jesus. As the saying goes.. you may have everything but not Jesus, you have nothing. We need to see things on God's perspective and not on our own no matter noble it may be. Our hearts should be right and in tune to God to see His purpose on the circumstances that we are facing in our lives.
This things I've said are easier said than done. So, let us continuelly pray for each other. You are not alone Guy.. daghan ta.. -anin

Sometimes God is not fair and life is not fair as well, I ask myself why there are people who didnt know Christ but they have good living, they have nice living, they have everything, business, money, stable jobs, good relationship to wife's family, family with kids, car, good job, they have good and bad vices and yet they have everything.I definitely ask to myself is God selecting people? whether christian or not?like Abraham, Job, Joseph the dreamer, they are the richest people in the bible. They are christians as well. I keep on praying of going to other country to work, but seems is not working, stable job, a dream car to ride on, own house to live in, separate with my parents, and dreaming of helping my church to have own lot for church building, have church owned instruments for worship, but it seems its not working, sometimes it disappoint thinking y HE couldnt answer my prayers the Fact that HIS the RICHEST FATHER of all fathers.. --guy
Comment: Hello Guy! I can relate very well with you as go through these personal challenges in your life. I also went through these thoughts and life's struggles during my younger years like you are now. These things God allows us to go through for His own purposes as He deals with us personally and individually as His beloved children. Cast all your cares on Jesus. He will comfort you and give you rest. God loves you! That's all that matters. He cares for you. Hang in there my friend. You're not alone. In the long run, you will see that God is fair after all. Looking forward to meeting you this Sunday! --Pastor Len

i thought i would never be hurt by that event, i thought that institution would recognized my potential even without trying to be recognized, i thought i dont wanna be recognized, i thought i was born with no care of grabbing those opportunities lied in front of me. but as i watch their queue i felt so guilty for i know if i made to exert even a little bit of effort i could really be one of them. my grades in all subjects were indeed effortless, i didnt submit any projects bcause i just dont fell doing it. 2 hours late , no quizzes, absences were overflowing, cutting classes, incomplete uniform, no bag.no copy. but still i managed to have an average of 91 and i am not proud of that!!! u know y??? couz f only i have disciplined myself b4 i can get higher than that, kung hindi k lang sana binaliwala ang bigay ng diyos s akin...who would i be????? yes too late to regret i cannot bring back the time.. but the bottom line is i know my faults now!!!! and i know God is always their to help me in fixing my faults.now people i have an advice para sa inyong lahat 'huwag n huwag niyong abusuhin ang inyong mga talento" VIENA the fresh learner
Comment: Thanks Viena for sharing to all of us lessons in life that you've learned recently. You're still young and you can still do better the next time around. God allows us to make mistakes and learn from it. God bless you in your quest for excellence. You're in the right direction. I know that you can excel the next time around. Don't give up. Keep at it. Take care. See you this Sunday. --Pastor Len
