YOUTHoughts - 2

Sunday June 06, 2004
hi! its bin a wyl since i used the computer again! and i think its really a blessing that we guys have an avenue to express what we feel in all aspects of life. i think siguro pwede po magkaroon din ng weekly updates kagaya po ng ginagawa nyo. but this time, not just an ordinary update, it shoud cater more sa needs ng youth. like tips, advises, articles, testimonies around the philippines and mas magiging maganda po kung mga youth po mismo gagawa nito. kung masyadong magastos... pwedeng thru email po. pahabol....ei! bakit ung mga galing boracay ala pasalubong kay kuya jem??? hehehe nah kidding po. Pastor len, thanks for visiting po the legazpi cong. nag enjoy po tlaga kami and i hope wel see you sa feast. hehehe! please pray for the YCFC kc po wer gna have an evangelistic campaign sa donsol sorsogon on july 8. we need ur prayers po. and kung may cash, pwede rin... :o) if you wana email kuya jem, jst email me po sa jeremydawal@yahoo.com.

Comment: Thanks Jeremy! That's a good idea -- an update for youths. I can help. Just send me articles, pictures, poems, testimonies, etc. and I'll make a youth web page out of it.

Proud to Be 2B....- noel2001phus@yahoo.com(NOEL)

Comment: Hi Noel, thanks for sharing. If you like, you can send me a photo of you para makita ka namin lahat. If not, OK din lang.

SEP. Those three letters evoke a cascade of memories for me. You know what's funny? It's not intentional but I'm wearing a yellow ochre SEP shirt right now (goes great with my khaki pants...oops, now some of you guys might have a clue when I attended). Looking back, SEP had a most profound impact on my spiritual life. I know that sometimes I had taken it for granted and treated it like textbook history. And now, it dawned on me, that this was the start of my involvement in God's service. Growing up in WCG, SEP then was considered as some sort of a rite of passage into teenage life. It was fun for me then, finally getting to know all the youths from different parts of the country, establishing friendships, etc. It was then that I began to realize that I was part of one big family of believers, a large group of youths WHO CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD. And if YOUTHink about it, SEP helped mold me for ministry (Glory to God!). So sunod sunod na yun. I got involved into music and helped around the church office. Then I began to travel and minister to the Body of Christ. Then I started getting involved in short term mission work and well, I'm still serving the Lord with everything I got :) I would like to express my deepest thanks to all of you who got involved in SEP. From the endearing kitchen staff, people in security, and most especially those who thought of the programs, the pastors, the camp directors and the parents. I thank you all. This is my testimony: If you really seek God and His direction for your life, you just might find Him at SEP. =)

Comment: Thanks for sharing. Hmmm.... who could you be?

hello po! i have already asked this question sa YSU FORUM. maraming salamat sa mga nag-post ng reply.... marami talaga akong na-learn. kayo po, ano po ang sagot nyo dito: bakit kailangan pa nating pumunta sa simbahan? dba, we can worship god everywhere?

Comment: Hello Marie. I read Madel's and Adelle's answer to your question and I agree with them. I can't think of anything more to add. Some would say "no man is an island, no man stands alone." "We need one another." Maybe that's why Jesus said, "Love one another." We can't "love one another" if we're alone, I guess. Thanks for posting. I'm sure this will be very helpful to everyone. I'm glad we're interacting here and at YSU. When I started YSU (before I passed it on to Andoi), I was hoping that youths can continue to interact through this means. Keep on posting!

if ur looking for some adventure i "highly recommend that you join SEP. kahit saang SEP pa yan basta SEP ok yan. i guarantee that it would be the adventure of your life. you'll also get morals you don't even expect to get. you'll learn lessons that would change you into a better person. on top of that, you'll experience GOD.--------------------------------------------------- noong una akala ko na hindi magiging successful ang SEP Bicol. sabi ko sa sarili ko "hindi kaya ng staff sa Bicol ito". pero God made me realize that HE's the greatest staff of all. No matter how simple or little it is, as long as God laid His hand on it, it would be a SUCCESS.. -=william=-

SEP bicol was really great!!! At first, i thought that it would not be a success but at the end of the camp, i realized that I was wrong. I have learned so many great things regarding my christian life... SEP Bicol surprisingly changed my life!!! It is so amazing how God worked in that camp, so great that SEP bicol turned out to be the best SEP that I have attended!!! I just hope that the next SEP Bicol would be more crowded with youths from other places...not just Bicolanos. See you next SEP!!! GOD BLESS!!! -=JoSeph Wilbur=-

SEP Bikol was so far the best one for me coz it brought me big, big lessons that i have learned... & God really showed me during the camp how Great He really is... & although its our first time to host a local SEP , it ended well naman... ---jemabel---
