Uummm....hello po. Si Madel po ito....sana naman hindi lang ako taga visayas na nandito....balita ko na ang dami talagang na baptize this year sa SEP natonwide...wow...sana naman at hindi mawala sa focus ang mga bagong baptize kasi sabi ni dad na dapat daw ma 'look after ang mga iyan' kasi baka hihina ang flame nila...dapat ablaze palagi...so ipag pray sana nating lahat ang lahat ng mga baptized esp. during this year and also sa mga pastors na tutulong sa kanila. Sa mga na baptized naman sana hindi niyo malilimutan ang commitment ninyo...ang galing talaga ng SEP this year...maraming first timers ang one of them is my friend...Catholic siya at magpapari daw siya....sabi niya sobra daw siyang nag-enjoy at marami daw siyang natutunan...Im happy for him and to everyone as well...By the way...ok lang kung kaunti lang kaming mga Visaya dito...anyway...marami naman akong kilala sa taga-Mindanao at taga-Luzon...

Comment: Hi Madel! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. One purpose of this youth forum is for our youths nationwide to be able to get in touch with each other regularly (not only during SEP) and encourage one another as we go through ups and downs in our Christian life. Tell others in the Visayas to join us here. Internet evangelism is relatively new. Medyo nagpa-pioneer tayo dito sa internet evangelism even as we interact with each other here. Who knows, baka ang ibang mga kabataan ay makilala nila ang Panginoon though our forum. Sama-sama tayo ditong mag-share ng magandang balita. Take care. Regards to your Dad.

Hello, Confused Baptized Girl. How's life keeping you now? Is it still lonely, tiresome, and boring? I must say, I can quite understand what you're going through, having been through the same situation myself not so long ago. I know what it feels like when God doesn't seem to make his presence felt sometimes. But I guess, that's all the more reason we have to seek him. And prayer makes that possible. Prayer is communicating with God, di ba? Just as we communicate with our closest "hingahan" friends or sound boards (those whom we run to the moment we have problems). So let him know of your frustrations, your hurts, the loneliness and boredom you're feeling, and the senselessness of everything around you, and I'm sure he'll be more than delighted to hear all of that from the deepest recesses of your heart. If you've read the book of Psalms in the Old Testament, you'll see how King David was very vocal about his emotions to the Lord. I suggest you try reading the book and you'll be surprised that King David shares your sentiments. In fact, I've used some of the chapters or verses as the... shall we say, 'vocalization' (yung preparation na ginagawa ng mga singers before the actual singing) to my prayers. :) But there's one important thing you must take into consideration. All these things I have told you must start with 'desire'. Without the 'desire' to go to him and voice out your thoughts, your heart, to speak to him, and seek him, then you won't get anywhere except towards greater ennui and to the depths of despair. Let desire be your motivating force for now. It takes a lot of effort, but once you get moving, you're going. Well, I hope I made sense. Remember, all we who have read your entry can only advise you, but it is up to you to push yourself, drag that body of yours from indolence, and take the challenge to change your life. All it takes is Desire. God bless you and good day, veejay

im lonely... and im tired....every second is so booooooringgg..... and everything seems so nonsense to me.. sometimes i hate praying.. cos it makes me feel "hilas"... pero ga pray mn ghapon ko.. God's seems so too far away.... but i know His ther.... errrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! i h8 thinkin about this... sana i can just quit na diha diha dayun..!! hahayyy.... i hate waking up..!i jst wanna sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep and sleep and wake til i want to... this world can't satisfy the needy me..... by the way im the helpless, hopless, pointless, senseless confused baptized girl... WHY?????????????????!!?!?!?!??!!?!?!?

You've got a friend... friends are forever...Comment: Hello there my friend. Life can become tiresome, boring and senseless if we are pointless and aimless -- I mean, you need to find out what the purpose of life is. Try to find out what the meaning of life is. Why are we here on earth? This is what you need to find out. Try reading our article, "Why were you born?" It just might help.

Also try to develop a relationship -- real relationship with your friends and especially with the Lord Jesus. Life is not boring when you care more for the needs of other people and less and less on your personal needs. You will soon find out that your needs are satisfied when you take care of others' needs first. The saying, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" is really true.

When you are talking and praying to a real person (the Lord Jesus) and you have a personal relationship with him, you won't hate prayer. It's like wanting to talk to your close friends always. You don't think it's "hilas" or "corny" 'di ba? Kasi, friends mo sila. You can easily talk to them anytime. You want to get in touch with them always. Try to develop a relationship with the Lord. He's waiting for you to pour out your heart. He is listening and He will understand. Only He can really satisfy your needs. May you find meaning in life. Take care. God bless.

Hi! Its my first time to visit this site. I personally think that its a great venue where young people can exchange thoughts! Hehehe... astig! anyway, I am just glad that God has been most gracious and ultra loving to the young people of the church. As the song says..."Let the River flow...Holy Spirit come...move in power." Let us all keep on doing the work of the Lord, coz' there's just no higher calling! God bless you all! --Abi, CLAYGROUND

Comment: Hi Abi! Glad to read your comments here. We want our youths nationwide to join this forum. Though we are separated by islands and far distances, modern technology has made it possible for us to keep in touch through this internet forum. Let's use it and build a youth community on the net. Who knows, maybe we can reach out other youths through this means. Internet evangelism is relatively new. Let's all band together and explore the possibilities. Let's keep in touch.

BORACAY! BORACAY! BORACAY! I still can't get it out of my mind! The Singles Conference was the best! Ang galing ng Panginoon! And the fact that nag-extend ako ng 2 days dun with some fellow singles made it all even better! Suuuuulllllllliiiiiitttttt!!!!! Mackoy, LJ, san na yung mga pics and video na isha-share nyo? :D Summers have always brought great memories for me, all my life. And, growing up in the church, SEP was always a big part of those happy summers. From the times I was a mini-camper during the "SEP: Speak English Please" and "FFF" (Fun, Friends, and Fellowship / Food, Food, Food) days; to the times that I got to be one of the campers (Mt.Apo, Davao, Calatagan); and now that I've served as one of the staff (Baguio, Zambales), SEP has always been a blessing for me. It has immensely enriched me every year, with insights and experiences that are so distinct, but much the same. For each new friendship forged, each relationship strengthened, and each bond solidified with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I have been eternally grateful. God's love is very much palpable in camp, whether in the Praise and Worship sessions, activities, dorm chats and in-dorm bonding. For young people, SEP has always been one of the best opportunities to truly get to know and experience Christ. For us who've chosen to serve you teens, we are ever thankful to our great God that we can witness His unfailing love work in you. God bless you all! --Sammy, Clayground

Hi, it's really nice to be back online! Hope all studs are ready for school again. Well, after the summer adventures, that's how it goes for us. Everyone's loaded again with homeworks and assignments, with researches and thesis'. Yup, a lot of things will be eating up our time again. I just pray for everyone to keep in touch and keep the Fire ALIVE! :0) A lot of youth out there are dying to find a friend to talk to. Hope we could continue to be that hearing ear to listen to them, never getting weary of being a channel of God's love and grace. May Jesus dwell in our hearts always! Godbless! -goldwyn/dvo
