I attended the ministerial conference in Jekyll Island, Georgia, Jan. 14 to 16. I am not sure why I was there, except that I wanted to be.
In reflecting on what I saw and experienced, I realized that the men in the leadership positions of the WCG have moved to a new level--boldness and confidence without apology. Thank you for that.
I am learning to enjoy worshiping God with my entire being, emotions included. I find I still hold back with the burden of what will people think. I can see that that is changing for me too.
If those of my physical family were still attending, who once upon a time did attend with us, there would be 29 of us. Instead there is just me. I love our church and the truth we have been led to see. Please encourage those around you to just keep on keeping on in faithfulness to Jesus and follow where he leads.
