Ray and Carol Meyer

Meyer, Ray.jpg (18185 bytes)Ray and Carol Meyer began their ministry in June 1969, shortly after they graduated from Ambassador College and were married.

Their first assignment was in Akron, Ohio, where they assisted in pastoring the Akron, Cleveland and Youngstown, Ohio, churches and also assisted in the district church office there.

Since then they have served in Covington and Louisville, Kentucky; again in Akron; the sabbatical program in Pasadena; Houston, Texas, East; again in Louisville; Dayton, Ohio; Milwaukee Central and West Bend, Wisconsin; and Kansas City North and St. Joseph, Missouri.

During the time of doctrinal changes, the Meyers also served as interim pastor of the Kansas City, Missouri, East, and the Topeka and Kansas City South, Kansas, congregations. Mr. Meyer was appointed superintendent of the Kansas City district in 1995. The Meyers now pastor the Kansas City Northland congregation and oversee the Kansas City Southland congregation.

Mrs. Meyer works part-time in sales at a department store, directs women's ministry and is active in prison ministry. Mr. Meyer is also enrolled in a master's program at Liberty University. The Meyers have two grown children, Janna and Randall.

The Meyers supervise 24 congregations in six states, pastored by 10 vocational pastors and four bi-vocational pastors.
