Youths attend
SEP in Ghana

ACCRA, Ghana--Forty-three campers from Togo, Benin and Ghana met for youth camp Dec. 19 to Jan. 9 at the church farm outside Accra. The theme was "Use the Talents Christ Has Given You."

WCG teens invited four non-WCG youths to the camp.

Some of the staff had a lengthy prayer session into the early hours of Jan. 1 to usher in the new millennium.

Camp included daily morning Bible studies conducted by Accra ministers. Some evenings, campers shared stories at story-telling time. One Friday evening, area pastor Gabriel Ojih and Francis Ablordeppey, co-director of camp, conducted a Bible bowl format Bible study.

Elizabeth Asante-Manteaw of Accra was named best female camper, and Godsway Koranteng of Accra was named best male camper. Yawa Dzromadzi of Benin and Herbert Tachie-Yeboah of Kumasi, Ghana, were the most improved campers. Angeline Ojih.
