Two types of tours will be offered to Ghana. The first is for 14 nights Oct. 8 to 21. It will include tours in the cities of Accra and Kumasi, visits to the slave castles in Cape Coast and Elmina, a visit to the dam that created the largest manmade lake in the world, botanical gardens and museums.
The second is a nine-night tour, Oct. 13 to 21. It will be an abbreviated version of the first tour.
The tour package will include accommodations, English breakfast, two to four lunches, transportation while in Ghana, entrance fees to tour sites and one dinner.
The cost for the 14-night tour will be $1,800 double occupancy; $2,500 single. For the nine night tour the cost will be $1,400 double occupancy; $1,700 single.
