attend Women
of Faith conference

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee--Six women (including a group of four generations) from the Chattanooga church were among 15,000 women who attended the Women of Faith's Extravagant Grace 2000 conference in Atlanta, Georgia, July 7 and 8.

The theme of the conference was our continual need for grace.

Conference topics

The following topics were addressed: Chonda Pierce spoke on Come As You Are; Sheila Walsh on The Gift of Grace; Patsy Clairmont on Unwrapping Grace; Thelma Wells on Appreciating Grace; Barbara Johnson on Enjoying Grace; Marilyn Meberg on Sharing Grace; and Luci Swindoll on Celebrating Grace. Nicole Johnson also gave a dramatic presentation.

Conference comments

Laura O'Neal said: "This was my first time attending, and the entire experience was great. I'm looking forward to next year."

"To see that many women gathered together to worship God was unbelievable," said Burma McCain.
