PORTLAND, OregonErnest L. Martin, 69, died of a heart attack at his home Jan. 16. He had also suffered a heart attack Jan. 4.
Dr. Martin graduated from Ambassador College in 1958. He received a masters degree in theology in 1966 and a doctorate in education in 1966.
Dr. Martin was secretary of the board of the Bricket Wood, England, campus from 1960 to 1972, and a senior professor. He was dean of faculty there from 1966 to 1972. He supervised the Ambassador College archaeological dig in Jerusalem from 1969 to 1973. Dr. Martin left Ambassador in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona, a son, Samuel, a daughter, Kathryn, and two granddaughters, Helen and Stephanie.
