sings carols to shut-ins
SAYRE, Oklahoma—The Sayre Circle of Love Fellowship joined with My Father’s House of Prayer for caroling Friday, Dec. 14.
The group sang at a nursing home, at a complex for senior citizens and for the developmentally disabled. Then they traveled to homes of shut-ins to carol for them personally.
Afterward, 82 people gathered at the Circle of Love building for hot chocolate, chili, hot dogs and hamburgers provided by the congregation. As people visited and became acquainted, Larence Aston, pastor of My Father’s House of Prayer, said, "It must be pleasing to God to see his children enjoying each other in such joyous fellowship."
