Pentecost in Queens
and Long Island:
'We are your family'

QUEENS, New York—More than 160 people took communion at our combined Pentecost celebration, May 19, between One in Christ Community Church (Queens congregation) and the Long Island congregation, according to Pastor Craig Bacheller.

"Everyone remarked how uplifting and encouraging the day was," Mr. Bacheller said. "I could tell it was a good day when I walked in and the roar of the conversation hit my ears."

Mr. Bacheller noted that he has been using a combination of a newsletter and pastoral letters to reach out to those on their mailing list.

"Half a dozen people told me they were there directly because of the letter I sent inviting them," Mr. Bacheller said.

"It was a very good day. I hope and pray God can use us to build on it."
