Word of Life camp
in Northern California

SACRAMENTO, California—We sent a bus with 41 campers and four adult counselors from this end of the Northwest district to the Word of Life camp July 15 to 20 near Mt. Lasson National Park. The age range was from 7 to 18. As has happened in past years, all the campers came home charged up for Christ.

Six were baptized at a worship service Aug. 17. We used the service as an outreach to invite other young people.

I can’t say enough for the impact the camp has had on our church. To see these kids turned on to Christ and his church is a great encouragement to me and all the adults here in Sacramento. Mike Swagerty.
