Houston congregation
conducts youth day

HOUSTON, Texas—Community Christian Fellowship (Houston WCG) had a youth day Sept. 20. We don’t have a lot of young people in our congregation, but those who were there participated as greeters, backed up hymns for the worship service, and helped take up the offering. We are working to get them more involved in the church, so that they will consider it their church, not just Mom and Dad’s church.

Pastor Mark Mounts spoke on “Failure: Lessons Learned.” He commented that as children, we consider that we make mistakes.   When we become adults, we consider that we experience failures. God tells us that we are to “become like little children.” When we make mistakes, we are not failures in God’s eyes. Irene Wright.
