PIKEVILLE, Kentucky—The Pikeville congregation conducted its fourth annual Joy of Jesus Camp Aug. 1 and 2. Attendance tripled over the previous year and included an overnight stay.

The theme for this year’s camp was “Smile, Jesus Loves You!” Every activity from painting T-shirts, to a treasure hunt, to a God-keeps-his-promises craft, to running an obstacle course, to a water race, was designed to show the kids the need for and purpose of God in their lives. Each person was given a gift bag and a certificate of attendance from the Pikeville congregation.
