YouthBuilders seminar in Florida

St. Augustine, Florida—Twenty-six youth ministry leaders from all over Florida attended a YouthBuilders 1 seminar in St. Augustine, Oct. 11 and 12. Attendees ranged in age from 15 to the 60s.

“The Lord uses servants of all ages in ministering to young people,” said Marty Davey, pastor of the Jacksonville congregation, host for the seminar.

Discussions were led by Ted Johnston, co-director of the National Youth Ministry Development Team. The seminar was valuable in teaching strategies for ministering to youths, and bringing youth leaders together from various congregations, which promotes a unified effort and approach in ministry.
