Beaumont Vacation Bible School

BEAUMONT, Texas—June 9 to June 13 marked the third annual joint Beaumont WCG and Pioneer Presbyterian Church Vacation Bible School. An average of 80 children between the ages of 4 and 14 attended each of the five sessions. We have shared the same building with Pioneer for several years.

Teachers and helpers came from both congregations. This year’s curriculum was from Gospel Light’s Son Harvest with emphasis on the fruit of the Spirit. The Presbyterian Church van was used to gather as many underprivileged children as possible. This appeared to be some of the children’s first exposure to Christian teaching.
