Hats off to
the graduates
UNION, New Jersey—The Union church honored its high school graduates June 7. The younger members served as ushers, provided music for the call to worship, assisted in the collection of the offering and provided special music.
Each graduate was given a $100 book scholarship and a New Living Translation of the Bible.
Each of Union’s graduates were members of the National Honor Society. Each served their schools as mentors and in various roles of peer leadership. They also served their communities and church through service projects.
The graduates are:
Tiffany Chapparro. Her goal is to become a psychologist. She will attend New York University.
Caroline Fischer. Her goal is to continue her writing career. Caroline will attend Vassar College.
Tammy Jendrek. Her goal is to major in social work. Her college choice is yet undeclared.
Sarah Magallanes. Her goal is to become a diplomat. She will attend George Washington University.
Jacqueem Winston. Her goal is to become an elementary school teacher. She will attend Rutgers University. Janelle Winston.
