Regarding the letters wanting The Worldwide News to continue bimonthly. We, too, wish it could be, but we understand the financial restraints.
We urge members to reach out to other positive, uplifting resources. Christian radio has been a great daily support for us, especially during the rough period last year.
We also receive other Christ-centered magazines and newsletters (such as Focus on the Family and the Christian Research Institute Journal). It's a challenge to keep up on all the reading material.
In our local church we have a bimonthly newsletter as well as headquarters updates in our weekly church bulletin. Involvement in local fellowship and prayer groups helps keep our focus throughout the week.
There are so many inspiring resources out there to supplement and complement our publications (as well as the Bible itself). We just need to take advantage of what God has provided.

I'm impressed with the small group Bible studies that have been introduced to us. It gives us so much joy with the new teaching.
We can now invite people outside the church to join us and we can lighten each others' burdens and pray for each other, and Christ will be in the midst of us. What a great honor Christ has done for us.
Let us rejoice and thank Christ, love him and love each other with Christ's love in us, and let us look forward to eternity with our Father and Christ.

The article by Mike Feazell in the Feb. 27 WN titled "Bringing Traditions Under the Lordship of Christ" was excellent.
I used the telephone to make sure that others read it.
Please give us more, and thank God for Mr. Tkach Jr., Ralph Orr and David Albert.

I write this letter to you because I'm not good at prayer, as you know. Expressing my feelings verbally becomes difficult, and perhaps you will forgive me for my lack, and for communicating with you through this letter.
The church is undergoing changes, and many are finding it unsettling. Nonetheless, as the truth comes to light, we thank you for opening our eyes to our former weaknesses, however hard it is to stomach.
To be sure, I believe this is part of our training you have decided upon.
A personal lesson I have learned is that we have to submit ourselves, foremost, to your will. Pursuing my personal needs first, and then trying to justify it through subjective use of your Word, has proved to make me arrogant and self-righteous, however sincere it was intended.
I was growing cold in the faith, and fortunately you jolted me out of a state of lethargy, forcing me to take stock of my spiritual credits banked in heaven. What a shock it was to learn that I've earned nothing! The fact is that the blessings I have, are a gift from you.
Frankly I find it difficult to understand why you would want to give me anything, that is, to a sinner doing what he doesn't want to do and not doing what he wants to do (forgive me for plagiarizing the apostle Paul's words).
Best wishes and love.
Your servant,
