MORNINGTON, Tasmania--Everyone in the Tasmanian church was affected, though not directly, by the shooting rampage that killed 35 people in Port Arthur, April 28, said pastor Cliff Worthing.
"The whole nation and especially our state is in a state of shock and disbelief," Mr. Worthing said. "It has really reached deep into everyone's hearts in a quite profound way. The people will never be the same again."
The church conducted a special service May 4 to address people's questions and concerns.
