From the treasurer's office

We'd like to ask you for your help in solving a processing problem we encounter on a regular basis.

The problem arises because sometimes checks for tithes, offerings or product purchases are accompanied by a request to split the amount between two or more of our corporate entities: Ambassador University, Ambassador Foundation, Worldwide Church of God and now PTM.

While we appreciate your desire to "kill two birds with one stone" by writing one check, we ask that you help us by not requesting that a check be split between two or more of these entities.

Though these entities are affiliated, they also maintain their own set of books for accounting purposes, and funds for each must be kept separate. Requesting that checks be split among our entities increases our processing time and costs.

We regret that we have to ask you to write separate checks when contributing to more than one of our entities, but your willingness to do so will be of great benefit to us by simplifying our processing and accounting functions.

Thanks as always for your understanding and cooperation.
