Tadjikistan is in a state of civil unrest, and the non-Muslim population is at risk. The place of worship used by the 150 Sabbatarians has been vandalized. They have been threatened, and are selling their homes and possessions to travel several thousand miles to Ukraine, which is safer.
These 150 Sabbatarians will be cared for by the Khust Sabbatarians in Ukraine, who were hosts for the church's summer projects. They are doing all in their power to help the Tadjik brethren. They have received much aid from other churches, and will be using this aid to help the Tadjikistan Sabbatarians. The Khust Sabbatarians became a second family to many of the Ambassador students this summer who volunteered as teachers. They are some of the most giving people in the world, and they would appreciate your prayers for them, for the Tadjik Sabbatarians, and for those still in Tadjikistan. The Khust Sabbatarians will be struggling this winter for themselves, let alone for the extra 150 that will be coming.
