Greetings again from the Treasurer's Office.
Summer is in full swing, with temperatures reaching well into the 90s Fahrenheit (mid to high 30s Celsius). Some residents feel lethargic from the sweltering heat, and our income has paralleled their flagging energy level, dipping to $121,411, the lowest daily mail income average in a while.
As I have written before, we have projected an average daily mail income of at least $122,000 to stay within budget projections.
Although we had been holding above this level each month so far, June finally lagged below our projection. Although we are concerned with the drop, we know from experience that our summer months tend to be our worst income times, and that we can and will recover from the summer income doldrums if income again picks up.
It is vital that our income for July, August and the fall months holds stable and begins again to increase. Please pray that God will encourage those who are able to continue their faithful giving to the church. With your prayers and financial support, we will meet our commitments and stay on track to build a solid financial base for the future.
