More than 100 have signed up for the cruise, and we have room for more.
The theme this year at all Festival sites is Come Celebrate Christ. In the spirit of that theme, we have designed the Festival cruise to be a time of celebration and renewal.
Participants will be renewed as we enjoy the astounding beauty of God's creation along the cruise route through the Panama Canal. Above all, we'll be pursuing spiritual renewal through a celebration of our relationship with Jesus Christ.
The worship schedule will be full of opportunities for prayer, Bible studies, worship services and interactive workshops.
Our worship together will begin Sept. 30, the Day of Atonement, with a celebration of the reconciliation we have in Christ. Festival worship begins Oct. 5.
Festival speakers will be Neil Earle, pastor of the Glendora, California, church, who appeared on the World Tomorrow telecast; Dennis Pelley, pastor of the Providence, Rhode Island, and Norwich, Connecticut, churches and former teacher and music director at church headquarters, and me.
Tentative workshop topics are Passages Through Marriage, Church History and Helping People in Times of Crisis.
